Mookie
Mookie is a female pekingese. She was born on December 31st, 1995. She is 12 years old.
Mookie over the past 12 years never has had any seizures, spinal problems or anything serious. She does have allergies & anal problems. We go to the vet monthly to get her anal gland expressed & her nails cut.
She is an awesome pekingese. Her personality is hysterical. She is older than my kids we have had her so long it is wonderful. She knows everything we say. She can say “I Love My MaMa and she will play with her toys and rough house to this day.
We also grab her paws and say gimme gimme mine and she growls (playfully) and pretends she’s going to bite you. She also just freaks out every now and then running around like a mad woman!
Mookie had Pyometria when she was 10 years old. She had to get fixed. After surgery it seems like she got fat and her hair just grew to the floor. She definitely put weight on and up until that surgery she was a short haired Pekingese….
See the picture below is how LONG her hair can get if I don’t keep it trimmed.
I have had her a long time and hope to have her even longer. She is awesome. And being my baby of the group she most certainly is my favorite. She’s a blast!
