I have owned Pekes for 14 years now. I currently have 7 Pekingese dogs and 1 Lhasa Apso and 2 Lhasa Apso/Pekingese Mix. I will be blogging about my dogs as things happen around here. I thought that other people who own Pekes would get some amusement out of this website.
Seems like alot of work after you read up on these dogs but it really isn’t. It’s not like it all happens at once. Most are very healthy dogs others have a few minor problems. Allergies and anal glands are no big deal. So please don’t let this site make you not want to own a Pekingese. They are the most loveable and loyal animals. Yes, we’ve got our minor problems but that’s what 5% of the time? The other 95% is wonderful and I am glad I have these guys!
I would love for others to comment and talk about their Pekes as well 
I am going to basically keep a diary on line about my Peke Teddy who is epileptic and will write down the dates and seizure episodes as they occur. Right now we seem to have them under control with the help of Bromide.
